Work With Me

Bodywork

  • Each Session Includes:

    – Intention setting and the opportunity to feel and express your intention in the body. This can include deeper self-reflection, movement or body-based practice when appropriate.

    – Hands-on Bodywork that aligns with your intention. We will always go over and collaborate on what the treatment includes.

    – Our time ends with space for observation and self-reflection.

Based on your intention, our work can include somatic resource/skill building and guidance for your home practice. I may offer readings if available and requested.

Please note: If you are not ready or available for hands-on work, we can continue with guided embodiment work. Or if you are primarily interested in embodiment coaching, please contact me before scheduling for a consultation conversation.

    Recurring appointments are available.

My Approach

Our body and state of being is a site of deep wisdom. When we listen to, breathe with, and move from the body, we can experience radically transformative shifts in how we live and relate to life. As more of our experience is welcomed it becomes more possible for us to live present, adaptable lives and align our actions in the world. I work with people to welcome more of their experience and soul energy into their daily life.

My offering is informed by deep listening, somatic practices and embodiment coaching, myofascial and structural integration, meridian acupressure and energetics, biodynamic craniosacral therapy and palm healing, and both mindfulness and somatic meditation. I intentionally blend embodiment and hands-on bodywork to support body, mind, spirit, social context, and soul.

I take a whole-person, collaborative approach. Together we will work with your intention to skillfully notice your direct felt-sense and support your body’s wisdom.

My approach to hands-on bodywork is often subtle or meditative, and invites deep rest. While the hands-on work can range from energetic nervous system support to deeper structural work, the quality of touch is specific and not meant to be painful or forceful. My intention is to attune and attend to you as a whole, meeting you where you are and allowing you to feel what is and what might want to happen next.

Ongoing bodywork supports an increased sense of agency and connection in the body. When appropriate, I offer guidance in building the skills of internal and external resourcing to work with bodily memory, emotions, and stress responses. Our work together can help you nurture a fulfilling relationship with yourself, the people around you, and this living world.

The body is a healing I am honored to witness. This work is a gift and a delight. I look forward to working with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

It has been so helpful to have Megan be a guide… encouraging me to breathe and make space to listen to my body. Her energy and practice are rejuvenating. She takes the time to get to know you, your body, and your intentions for each session.

As a dancer, and person I have found bodywork to be helpful not only in relieving pain, and inflammation, but also in moving stress, trauma, and emotions/memories that are held within my deep tissue… I tell people that it's the most gentle myofascial release massage I have ever had, while there is pressure, it has made me realize that pain does not have to accompany the release of pain. [You offer a] level of care and intention, from the questions you begin with, to the physical supports, to the questions we close the session with. Working with you feels like a therapy session. You take your time, and truly listen to the (my) body.

I had no idea what bodywork was [but I] recently came to the awareness of how trauma is stored in the body. I worked with a therapist for months prior that spent a significant amount of time getting me to be aware of how my emotions were manifesting in my body… After this year, I have the privilege of feeling things fully... the sorrow and the ache of grief AND the fullness and the depths of joy.”
