Spring Transition

Spring is knocking at the door, coming through the windows, and luring the first blooms out to say hello. While I do like to hold onto the season “officially” changing with the celebration of the equinox, which is on it’s way in a few more weeks, I’m taking note and practicing enjoying this transition. (Especially the flowers!)

The transition times are where a lot of the magic lives –in the not-quite-yet space, in the in-between. It has me reflecting on how I move through transitions, both big life changes and small moments like leaving work to return home. I’m really curious about how to slow down those moments and bring more acknowledgement to where I’ve been, where I’m going, and how I am. I ask my bodywork clients “what are you noticing” at the transition point that ends each session. I’ve been asking myself the same question within my daily small transitions too, and it’s felt like such a loving gesture to offer myself that specific attention.

What are you noticing in this transition to spring or in whatever transition(s) you find yourself within right now? How are you right now?
