Allowing everything to happen
The sun woke red and burning
purple pink across the edge of
everything I know to imagine
bursting into these impossible
days.
A wind blew sidelong
cut across the belly of trees
tops swaying like a million arms
praise
made everything once still
sing and shattered the sky
in constant motion.
Waking again at midday
same not refreshed start again
the only thought I know
is thank you.
Sheltered by this living
somehow
each sun a new streak across the sky
what else is there.
Why not see.
