Speak kindly to the unkind interpretations of

Water boiling,

skillet steaming,

stories playing on the speaker,

garlic fingers, and

interrupted by the sunset.

Go see, take the time,

nothing will burn and if it will

interpret it all as

worth the time to see

how everything is new

how I can set just as brilliantly,

and expect to rise

new, or else different,

any alternate path happening

and worth the living.
